Following lobbying by SOHL, a partial u-turn from Maidstone Borough Council on their poor decision to hold a public consultation on Heathlands away from Lenham. In true MBC style, they are trying to blame others for their failures but the community centre received an approach to hold one of the sessions in the village.
Their claim that public consultation is ‘high priority’ flies in the face of the complete absence of consultation and engagement in the last two years!
