We have prepared a summary document which explains why Lenham Heath is not the right location for a garden community.  This was used to lobby councillors and will form a large part of our response to the Council’s public consultation.

The SOHL Committee members have been working ‘behind the scenes’ to build an evidence base case based on the following key themes: location,  national and local policy, employment and economic need, biodiversity and environment, water, land ownership and assembly, viability and community engagement.  The summary document summarises the key highlights and findings from the detailed reports that we have been working on.
